6th Grade Camp 2024 a Huge Success

Thank you to everyone that participated in our first annual 6th Grade Camp Fundraiser! We were able to send 12 students to camp at no cost to their families. This afforded every student who wanted to participate in attending camp the opportunity to do so. We thank you for your generous donations to It Takes A Village SD.
It Takes a Village SD is dedicated to empowering low-income children and families in San Diego through comprehensive education, holistic inspiration, and compassionate support, fostering a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Audubon UTK-8 Elementary is located at 8111 San Vicente Street in the Lomita Village community of San Diego, 92114. The school is a Title 1 School with 100 percent free and reduced lunch.
It Takes A Village SD strives to boost morale and provide hope for tomorrow. 100% of every donation goes towards reducing barriers and keeping kids in school. We are dedicated to helping working parents of school-aged children and their families find solutions to reduce chronic absenteeism and allow equitable access to education. We work with Audubon UTK-8 school and the PTO to provide after school activities, basic needs for families, and solutions to any other barriers that might prohibit children from attending school.
